2.2.10.2 getACL<br />

Description: Get the ACL currently applied to the specified object.<br />

Notes: This service MUST be supported by the repository, if the optional capability capabilityACL is<br />

discover or manage. A client MUST NOT assume that the returned ACEs can be applied via applyACL.<br />

2.2.10.2.1 Inputs<br />

Required:<br />

• Id repositoryId: The identifier for the repository.<br />

• Id objectId: The identifier of the object.<br />

Optional:<br />

• Boolean onlyBasicPermissions: See section 2.<strong>1.1</strong>2 Access Control. The repository SHOULD<br />

make a best effort to fully express the native security applied to the object.<br />

– TRUE (default) indicates that the client requests that the returned ACL be expressed using only<br />

the <strong>CMIS</strong> basic permissions.<br />

– FALSE indicates that the server may respond using either solely <strong>CMIS</strong> basic permissions, or<br />

repository specific permissions or some combination of both.<br />

2.2.10.2.2 Outputs<br />

• AccessControlEntryType acl: The list of access control entries of the ACL for the object.<br />

The repository MAY return an empty list if the user has no permissions to access the ACL of this<br />

object.<br />

• Boolean exact: An indicator that the ACL returned fully describes the permission for this object.<br />

That is, there are no other security constraints applied to this object. Not provided defaults to FALSE.<br />
