Trinity students Made A Difference
during the 2009-2010 school year.
Trinity finished second in the state for the sixth time at the Worldwide Youth
in Science and Engineering (WYSE) academic contest.
Close to 40% of the 2010 Trinity graduates earned scholarships worth
a combined $1.4 million and 48% of last year’s graduates left Trinity with at
least 15 hours of college credit already completed.
The Trinity boys and girls soccer, softball and baseball teams won district
championships and the girls soccer team advanced to the state championship
game for the second straight season, while Trinity wrestlers Garrett Beckham
and Marquis West each finished third in state.
A decision was made to debut a boys swim team during the 2010 season to go
along with the highly successful girls swim team at Trinity.
Trinity became the first high school in the state of Missouri to open a credit
union at its school. The Gateway Metro Credit Union branch
at Trinity is open once a week to provide Trinity students with credit
union services as well as enhanced financial education programs.
Trinity’s Missions and Campus Ministry teams were tireless in their efforts to
raise money and conduct drives for the less fortunate, locally, nationally and
even internationally.
Plans were made for the creation of a fifth computer lab and the updating of
another computer lab to include virtual science lab software.
