Root canal therapy requires an excellent level<br />

<strong>of</strong> technical skills. A correct diagnosis and a<br />

biological understanding <strong>of</strong> new materials and<br />

techniques to facilitate an environment that will<br />

consequently ensure a healthy apical periodontium<br />

will result in extremely high probability <strong>of</strong><br />

success and a great sense <strong>of</strong> achievement. You<br />

will be introduced to comprehensive diagnosis,<br />

new concepts with latest irrigation procedures,<br />

continuing improvements with rotary files,<br />

including the location <strong>of</strong> MB2 canals, and new<br />

obturation alternatives, all allowing you to<br />

provide efficient endodontics for your patients.<br />

<strong>Course</strong> Materials:<br />

Attendees are required to bring the following:<br />

• Two or three multi-rooted teeth not mounted,<br />

with access cavities prepared<br />

• Teeth must be patent to accommodate a #8 or<br />

#10 hand file<br />

• DH 16 or other Endo explorer<br />

• Loupes<br />

Learning Objectives:<br />

Upon completion <strong>of</strong> this course, participants will<br />

• List the 15 components <strong>of</strong> comprehensive<br />

diagnosis<br />

• Describe the principles and techniques <strong>of</strong> canal<br />

disinfection<br />

• Demonstrate the various steps <strong>of</strong> instrumentation<br />

with TF<br />

• Discover the new obturation techniques with<br />

EOU<br />

• Understand the importance <strong>of</strong> coronal seal and<br />

appropriate restoration with bonding fiber posts<br />
