Twenty-first Century Scholars Pledge<br />
<br />
I agree <strong>to</strong> graduate with an Indiana High School Diploma from<br />
a charter school, freeway or other Indiana school accredited (or<br />
seeking accreditation) through Performance Based Accreditation<br />
(PBA) by the Indiana Department of Education.<br />

<br />
I will achieve a cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0<br />
scale.<br />
I will not use illegal drugs or alcohol, or commit a crime.<br />
I will apply for admission <strong>to</strong> an eligible Indiana college, university, or<br />
technical school as a high school senior.<br />
I will apply on time for state and federal financial aid.<br />
I understand that I must be an Indiana resident (as determined by the<br />
permanent residence of my parent or legal guardian), a U.S. citizen or<br />
eligible non-citizen, enroll as a full-time student at an eligible college or<br />
proprietary school, and meet all other financial aid requirements at the<br />
institution I attend.<br />

The student’s family income must be less than $50,000 at the time<br />
of enrollment.<br />

Take 17 units of required high school courses <strong>to</strong> help get ready for<br />
college.<br />
Make a 2.5 GPA or better in those courses and a 2.5 GPA for your<br />
overall high school career.<br />
Don’t skip school.<br />
Do your homework.<br />
Don’t abuse drugs or alcohol.<br />
Don’t commit criminal or delinquent acts.<br />
Meet with a teacher, counselor, or principal <strong>to</strong> go over your<br />
schoolwork and records.<br />
Provide information when needed.<br />
Apply for other financial aid during your senior year of high school.<br />
Take part in OHLAP activities that will prepare you for college.<br />
