SENOKO ENERGY PTE LTD – SINGAPORE’S LARGEST POWER GENERATION COMPANY<br />

Senoko Energy Pte Ltd (“Senoko”) is <strong>Singapore</strong>'s largest power generation company providing more<br />

than a quarter of <strong>Singapore</strong>'s electricity. Senoko is the first generation company in <strong>Singapore</strong> to<br />

import piped natural gas from Malaysia; the first to embark on <strong>repowering</strong>; the first to adopt<br />

combined cycle technology; as well as the first generation company to be certified ISO 9001, ISO<br />

14001 and OHSAS 18001.<br />

At the end of 2012, Senoko successfully completed its Repowering Project to convert three oil fired<br />

steam units into two technologically advanced and environment friendly gas fired combined cycle<br />

<strong>plant</strong>s (CCPs) with a capacity of 862 MW. This S$1 billion project will result in an estimated CO2<br />

emission of up to 1 million tons per year.<br />

Senoko is proud to have completed this project with complex engineering challenges on schedule<br />

and with a strong safety record, and would like to share their experience on this rewarding <strong>journey</strong><br />

with you.<br />
