SENOKO ENERGY PTE LTD – SINGAPORE’S LARGEST POWER GENERATION COMPANY
Senoko Energy Pte Ltd (“Senoko”) is Singapore's largest power generation company providing more
than a quarter of Singapore's electricity. Senoko is the first generation company in Singapore to
import piped natural gas from Malaysia; the first to embark on repowering; the first to adopt
combined cycle technology; as well as the first generation company to be certified ISO 9001, ISO
14001 and OHSAS 18001.
At the end of 2012, Senoko successfully completed its Repowering Project to convert three oil fired
steam units into two technologically advanced and environment friendly gas fired combined cycle
plants (CCPs) with a capacity of 862 MW. This S$1 billion project will result in an estimated CO2
emission of up to 1 million tons per year.
Senoko is proud to have completed this project with complex engineering challenges on schedule
and with a strong safety record, and would like to share their experience on this rewarding journey
with you.
