next generation of navigation aids for all types of rallying.
G-Series Professional
GPS+ Rally Computer
Monit’s desire to continually develop
it product range has taken another
step forward with the introduction
in 2013 of the G-Series GPS+
Rally computer. The G-Series unit
is lightweight with a large sunlight
viewable display, easy to use graphic
interface but with the addition of a high-sensitivity GPS receiver. This allows the unit
to measure distance and speed without the need for a traditional wheel speed sensor,
greatly simplifying installation and improving reliability.

GPS+ Speed Fusion Technology - Explained
The G-Series can measure distance and speed using either the GPS satellite
signal or a traditional wheel speed sensor, or both. If both are used the proprietary
GPS+ software automatically switches over to the wheel sensor if the GPS signal
is lost. This means that accurate operation can be maintained even in tunnels or
dense forest cover where the signal might be degraded.
GPS Antennas
All G-Series units require an external antenna to receive the GPS signal.
There are two types of antenna available depending on the customer’s requirements.
Magnetic Mount
Attaches to roof using a strong
magnet for quick and easy
installation. If required, it
may be fastened more
securely using
adhesive tape.
