Zircoflex Ceramic Heat Shield
Zircofl ex is a revolutionary fl exible ceramic heat shield
material, offering superb thermal barrier performance at
minimal weight and minimal thickness.
It is produced as thin aluminium backed foil with the
following features;
Flexible - Zircofl ex is easily bent and manipulated to
suit different geometries.
It can even be folded tightly through 180° without
damaging the thermal barrier.
Lightweight - Zircofl ex weighs only 460g/m²
Extremely thin - needing only minimal space for
installation
Aluminium backed - making the material robust and
ease to handle
Easily cut and installed - by hand or machine
Superb thermal barrier - a single sheet reduces
surface temperature by up to 64% (500° heat source).
Three thicknesses options - this can increase surface
temperature reduction by up to 85%.
Self Adhesive - Available throughout the range
Easily fixed in place - using mechanical fasteners or
high temperature adhesives
Easily stored - Zircofl ex foil is supplied in the form
of a roll

tailpipes and any areas where heat is a problem.
