What will the consumer like? Fashion products, life cycles, seasons, quality: analysing market trends. �e correct tools for satisfying consumer tastes. the fashion manager is the person who decides whether to produce a collection or not, defining its fashion content, its price range and its target market. his task is to study the fashion landscape, identify the competition, oversee the development of the product, plan its promotion and select the sales channels. the fashion manager works with the design office and with all the production and sales departments. the three-year study programme covers the study of fabrics, collections, production and quality control, but also the evolution of habits, customs, lifestyles and market needs, as well as the entrepreneurial and commercial aspects. by studying the market and its segmentation, you will gain an understanding of sales and marketing methods, and learn to control costs and define communication and promotion techniques and after absorbing all this knowledge, you will be ready to start work, coordinating staff and consultants and undertaking a highly profitable and satisfying career either in a fashion company or in your own business.
