logistics. Competition also intensifies. Dr. Gang Yu<br />
will illustrate how The Store Corporation<br />

and gains a competitive edge. The Store Corporation<br />
applies advanced information technology to optimize<br />
its supply chain and to improve customer<br />
experience. It has enjoyed an average <strong>of</strong> 28%<br />

Gang Yu is Co-Founder and Chairman <strong>of</strong> The Store Corporation (www.yihaodian.com).<br />
Before that, he served as Vice President, Worldwide Procurement at Dell Inc. managing<br />
Dell’s over $18B procurement spend in Asia Pacific. Prior to Dell, Gang Yu served as<br />
Vice President <strong>of</strong> Worldwide Supply Chain Operations, Amazon.com. He has also been<br />
the Jack G. Taylor Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Business at the McCombs <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> Business at The<br />
University <strong>of</strong> Texas at Austin for fifteen years. He is the Founder and former<br />
Chairman/CEO <strong>of</strong> CALEB Technologies Corporation (now a subsidiary <strong>of</strong> Accenture). Dr.<br />
Yu has published over 80 journal articles, three patents and four books. He won the 2002<br />
Franz Edelman Management Science Achievement Award from INFORMS and the 2003<br />
Outstanding IIE Publication Award from the Institute <strong>of</strong> Industrial Engineers, in addition to<br />
many other awards. He received his MS from Cornell University and his PhD from the<br />
