• V0 grade: flame self-extinguishing in 10 seconds without dripping
• V1 grade: flame self-extinguishing in 30 seconds without dripping
• V2 grade: flame self-extinguishing in 30 seconds with dripping

Lineo Range has compact dimensions ideal for installation in cramped areas.
Slim yet powerful, the overall size of the product is only slightly larger than
the ventilation duct it connects to.

The integral IPX4 rated electrical junction box has an airtight cover.

SAFE
Safety, power rating, protection rating (IPX4 to EN 60529) and insulation are
certified by the IMQ (Quality Mark Institute), the Italian national certifying
agency.
TIMER
ADJUSTABLE TIMER
Lineo range is available with a built-in adjustable timer ( from 3 to 20
minutes).
TWO SPEEDS
All models fe a t u re two speed operation, including timer equipped models.
ADJUSTABLE SPEED
Non-timer models can be speed adjusted with the optionally available
controllers.
LONG LIFE 30.000 h
The entire Lineo range is fitted with ball bearing motors
for a minimum 30,000 hours operation without mechanical malfunction.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
Lineo models from 100 to 200 are provided with thermal cut-out devices.
Lineo models from 250 to 315 are equipped with manual reset limiter
(thermal switch).
COMPLIANCE TO STANDARDS
Lineo range is complying with EN 60335-2-80-1997. Performance conforms to
UNI 10531 (Category D).They bear the CE Mark for compliance with the Low
Voltage Directive (LVD) and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC).
ENVIRONMENTAL SENSORS
Vortice Lineo products are capable of advanced functionality in combination
with optional sensor units for monitoring humidity, detecting persons,
ambient temperature, pollutant levels and air quality.

As a single unit at the duct inlet
Vortice Lineo fans can be mounted
in a wide range of options at the
beginning, middle or end of the air
duct and horizontally, vertically,
against walls, ceilings, false ceilings or
any flat surface.
Lineo can be removed from situ, for
inspection and maintenance, in just a
few seconds.
Vortice Lineo can be fitted to
standard round section pipes and to
rectangular air ducts (using unique
special mounting accessories).
The product is supplied complete with a
bag of accessories including anchor bolts
and plugs, cable clamps and gro m m e t s .

SPECIFICATION TEXT*
In-line mixed-flow extractor fans in self-extinguishing V0 plastic with IPX4 protection
for ducted installation and designed for the ventilation of domestic, commercial and
industrial applications to include kitchens, bathrooms, washrooms, pubs, restaurants,
shops, offices, factories, stores, theatres, dance halls, sports halls and canteens.
The motor is an asynchronous induction motor, ball bearing equipped (30,000-hour
guarantee) with a starting capacitor and includes a thermal cut-out devic.
The units have been constructed to comply with EN 60335-2-80-1997 and third
party verified performance conforms to UNI 10531 (Category D).
Control options include optional speed controllers, environmental sensors or integral
timer. Consult Vortice Ltd technical literature for details. Vortice Ltd can also
provide a design and specification service and it is recommended that they are
consulted early in the design process.

Environmental sensors are designed to detect specific environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, movement
detector and air quality) and suitable with Lineo models without timer.

Measures ambient relative
humidity (R.H.), and starts the fan
when the R.H. exceeds 65%.
The sensor can also be w i red to allow
the unit to be sw i t c h e d on when the
R.H. is below 65%, and incorporates
an over-run timer (adjustable between
3 and 20 minutes).
C TEMP-TEMPERATURE

Measures ambient room
temperature, and starts the fan
when the temperature exceeds the
preset value. Once the temperature
drops below the preset value, the
unit will over-run for between 3 and
20 minutes (dependent on setting).
Te m p e r a t u re regulation range 10 - 40 C°.
C SMOKE

Measures the air quality,
detecting the presence of cigarette
smoke, odours and other pollutants,
and starts the fan when the
concentration of pollutants exceeds
the preset value.
The unit will also over-run for
