a drive down the Outer
Banks Scenic Byway, one of
150 national scenic byways.
The Outer Banks boasts great sandy beaches, like this one in Nags Head. Another OBX
favorite, Cape Hatteras, has been named one of 2014’s “Ten Best Beaches in the U.S.”
by Dr. Beach, aka Stephen Leatherman, one of America’s biggest experts in the world
of coastal travel. It is the 7th year in a row for Cape Hatteras on this prestigious list.
