Just a reminder: Student Council is
collecting gently used books for their
annual used book sale. Collection continues
until Friday, March 11th. Please donate!
Sale starts on Monday, March 14th and
ends on Friday, March 18th.

There has been a lot of illness in the building recently, so
please keep this as a reminder issued by the Ozaukee County
Health Department:
*Any child with a temperature of 100 degrees or more needs
to remain at home, AND a child MUST be free of fever for at
least 24. hours before returning to school.
*Keep children home when a stomachache is persistent or
severe enough to limit activity, AND when vomiting occurs,
keep children home for at least 24 hours after it ceases.
*Children with a hacking cough and nasal congestion belong at
home even if no fever is present.
Although we want children in school, there are times when it's
not appropriate.

The Science .of Spin(i!)is corning
to Wilson Elementary!
On Mon & Tue, Mar 21 & 22, "Dazzling Dave" Schulte, National Yo-YoMaster, will present a program
called Science of Spin®. As part of this program he will also teach the sport of yo-yo in workshops.
Dave teaches science through the use of toys and sporting equipment. This helps children understand
how physics playa part of their everyday life. Yo-Yoingis a part of his demonstration. It is a skill
that develops hand-eye coordination, builds self-esteem, enhances motor skills, and teaches the
benefits of practice. It is also a lot of fun!
Yo-Yoswill be provided for the workshops, so buying a yo-yo is not mandatory. However, if your child
does not have a good working yo-yo, the high quality type used in the classes will be available at
school for five days following the program. The box below details what is available, no tax is added,
to the price listed, and part of the proceeds wilt go to our school.

WILSON GOES TO THE ADMIRALS
Be sure to get your tickets to see the Milwaukee Admirals take on
the San Antonio Rampage on March 27" 1 , 2011 !
Game Time 5:00pm
Each $14.00 ticket purchased includes a free soda and hot dog!
All Wilson students, family and friends will be seated together in
the same section and for every ticket sold, ,$3.00 goes to the
Wilson PTO!
Six Wilson students (one from each grade) attending the game
will have the opportunity to shoot off the confetti cannon at the
beginning of the second period! Look for a Wilson Staff Member
to be a Human Hockey Puck!
Be sure to bring your skates! There will be a post-game
opportunity to skate on the Admiral's ice!
Please fill out the enclosed form, make check out to "Wilson
PTO" and return both to school in an envelope marked "Admirals
Game" by no later than Friday, March 18 th •
