Tai Chi Open to Adults & Seniors
Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional Chinese exercise practiced for relaxation, balance, strength and flexibility. In class,
students will: 1) Warm-up. 2) learn the basics of the standardized Yang style Tai Chi form. 3) Cool down/Meditation.
Ultimately, the practice integrates, body, mind, and spirit causing a “ripple” effect that not only helps the health of
the individual, but spreads out into the well-being of the family and greater community. Tai Chi does not impact
the joints of the body. There are proven positive cardiovascular effects despite the slow movements. On fact, the
slow movements create a good challenge for the practitioner. Continuing students must have one session or be an
experienced practitioner of the art.
Open to Adults & Seniors
Created by Dr. Paul Lam, the Tai Chi Arthritis program is supported by Arthritis foundations and Societies
throughout the world. Tai Chi for Arthritis is easy to learn – most people can learn it in a few weeks and, at
most, several months. It is also safe. All high-risk movements have been removed and replaced with ones that
are more effective for health. In addition certified Tai Chi for Arthritis instructors are trained to teach safely. The
Tai Chi for Arthritis program is effective. Over ten scientific studies have shown it relieves pain, maintains and
Hearty German Inspired Menu
Open to Adults & Seniors
During the middle and late 19th century, Wisconsin
and the Milwaukee area became the final destination
of many German immigrants fleeing the Revolution of
1848. In Wisconsin they found the inexpensive land and
the freedoms they sought. The German heritage and
influence in the Milwaukee area is widespread and none
is more prominent than the German culinary influence at
places like Mader’s, Karl Ratzsch’s, Usingers and more.
Today, I’ll prepare a terrific menu with this German
heritage in mind. You can sample all of these foods and
take home the recipes to prepare for your family…
• Spinach Salad with Hot Bacon Dressing
• Beef Rouladen
BRIDGE LESSONS Open to Adults & Seniors
Our bridge lessons start in the fall and are an ongoing series of 6-week sessions that continue through May.
The beginning lessons at 1:00pm are geared to those who enjoy cards but don’t have bridge experience, have
played a minimal amount of bridge, or who have not played in years. The intermediate lessons at 10:00am are
designed to enhance basic knowledge and improve skill levels while learning current conventions and strategies.
This class is usually taken after our first year class. Because bridge is a game that needs a strong foundation of
basic knowledge, our classes are only offered to new students in the fall of each year, so now is the time to jump
in with both feet. Don’t worry about missing a few classes as we review concepts regularly. These classes do fill
quickly. We have a limit of 18 students per class and only accept additional students mid-year if space is available
AND knowledge of prior concepts is shown. If you have any questions on class content or where you would best
fit, please give our instructor, Billie Dillon, a call prior to the start of the sessions at 262-893-8877. Come join us to
Where will the money come from?
Your money? Government programs? Your
family? Where will the money come from to pay for
your long-term care? How will you pay for assistance to
stay in your home, or pay for you to live in assisted living,
or manage nearly $9000 a month in a nursing home?
We’ll look at long-term care insurance policies and
the major government funding programs (Title 19 and
Family Care.) You’ll find out how eligibility is determined
and the benefits for which funding is available. How
much money can you keep? What do you have to pay
out of pocket? What are your choices? How long are the
waiting lists?
Location: Range Line School – Room # 108
Hammerstein’s
Grades 4-8
If you thought you knew the story of ‘The Princess and The Pea,’ you may be in for a walloping surprise! Did
you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab?
Or that it may not have been the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave
of beguiling songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar
classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are,
you’ll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again. Please join us for our 7th season with a wonderful
musical filled with terrific songs and lots of fun parts, princesses, jesters, minstrels, princes, knights and
ladies. Join us as a beginner or someone with a little experience, either way you will be in for a great time.
Plan on working hard, meeting lots of new friends and learning how to sing, dance and act on stage.
