Fusion Fitness (Adult Aerobics)<br />

This is a one hour class designed <strong>to</strong> increase your heart rate in<strong>to</strong> at least the fat burning zone and <strong>to</strong>ne and sculpt<br />

your body using handheld weights; a fusion of cardiovascular training and weight training. After a warm-up you will<br />

learn combinations of aerobic, dance, and kick boxing movements designed <strong>to</strong> push your body and cardiovascular<br />

system in<strong>to</strong> the next level. Options are given <strong>to</strong> encourage each participant <strong>to</strong> work at their own level. After a<br />

half hour <strong>to</strong> forty minutes of a fantastic fitness experience we will transition in<strong>to</strong> a <strong>to</strong>ning and sculpting session.<br />

Using handheld weights, gravity, and your body weight we will focus on muscle endurance training <strong>to</strong> improve your<br />

strength and ability <strong>to</strong> perform everyday tasks. Options given in this class will assist every participant whether you<br />

want <strong>to</strong> increase your fitness so that you’re not winded when you walk up a flight of stairs, or increase your fitness<br />

<strong>to</strong> become more physically athletic. Please be sure <strong>to</strong> bring a mat, handheld weights, and resistance tubing.<br />

Tai Chi & CHI GONG<br />

<strong>Open</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Adults</strong> & <strong>Seniors</strong><br />

Tai Chi (or Taiji) has a long his<strong>to</strong>ry passed over generations and well-documented healing effect for<br />

various chronic ailments. It is good for both the mind and the body. In this class we practice the Yang’s<br />

Tai Chi 24 Form, the most common routine practiced in the parks all over China. We will also study Ba<br />

Duan Jin and Yi Jin Jing, the two standard Qi Gong popularized by the Beijing Sport University.<br />
