If you thought you knew the story of ‘The Princess and The Pea,’ you may be in for a walloping surprise! Did
you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab?
Or that it may not have been the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave
of beguiling songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar
classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are,
you’ll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again. Please join us for our 7th season with a wonderful
musical filled with terrific songs and lots of fun parts, princesses, jesters, minstrels, princes, knights and
ladies. Join us as a beginner or someone with a little experience, either way you will be in for a great time.
Plan on working hard, meeting lots of new friends and learning how to sing, dance and act on stage.
All participants will receive a T-shirt.
Attention Parents/Guardians! All students who enroll in this program are expected to be at all
rehearsals, so please do not enroll your child unless they are committed to giving 100% to the
program. We cannot allow students to skip to participate in other programs that occur at the same
time, this could lead to us replacing your child in the show.
Auditions for parts for this musical will be on Tuesday, December 18 – Vocal, Wednesday, December
19 – Acting and Thursday, December 20 – Call Backs for lead parts at 4:15pm at Range Line Gym.
Audition packets will be available in early October for pick up at the M-T Rec Office.

Tickets are $3.00 for general admission, except the Sat 11:00am show is $2.00.
All participants will receive 6 free tickets for family and friends.
