Tai Chi Open to Adults & Seniors
Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional Chinese exercise practiced for relaxation, balance, strength and flexibility. In class,
students will: 1) Warm-up. 2) learn the basics of the standardized Yang style Tai Chi form. 3) Cool down/Meditation.
Ultimately, the practice integrates, body, mind, and spirit causing a “ripple” effect that not only helps the health of
the individual, but spreads out into the well-being of the family and greater community. Tai Chi does not impact
the joints of the body. There are proven positive cardiovascular effects despite the slow movements. On fact, the
slow movements create a good challenge for the practitioner. Continuing students must have one session or be an
experienced practitioner of the art.
