22 Adult Enrichment Continued “ F LU SHOTS” Walgreens pharmacists will be giving flu shots and pneumonia vaccinations on Tuesday, September 18th at Range Line School. The single best way to protect against getting the flu is to get your flu shot! There is no cost for either vaccination if you have Medicare Part B. You will need to bring your Medicare red, white and blue card and your supplemental Part D prescription card if you have one. If you don’t have Medicare Part B or don’t have your Medicare card there is a $25.99 cost for the flu shot and a $79.99 cost for the pneumonia vaccine. Only cash or checks will be accepted. SENIOR PROGRAMS 23 TRAVEL SHOW Open to Adults & Seniors This will be a fun and informative travel show with video presentation, prize drawings, travel show discounts and refreshments. Come hear all about our new trips that have been added with Personalized Tours for the fall and the beginning of 2013. Location: Range Line School - Room #108 Date: Tuesday, September 11 Time: 2:30pm - 4:30pm Course #: 122020 Registration: Deadline is one week before the start date. WARRENS CRANBERRY FEST Warrens, Wisconsin Small town . . . Big Festival. Taste everything cranberry at the Annual Cranberry Festival. This is the world’s largest Cranberry Festival! A wide variety of American and Ethnic Foods can be found at over 100 food booths. Shop at the 850 art and craft booths, 350 antique & flea market booths, and over 100 framer’s market booths. Make sure to try cranberry puffs, chocolate covered cheese cake, or some cranberry ice cream. There is lots of room in the luggage area under the bus for your new-found treasures. Good walking shoes are a must. This trip goes rain or shine so please plan accordingly. We will make a short stop enroute to Warrens and on the return to stretch our legs and pick-up a bite to eat (at your own expense). Please note! No refunds given after this date and bus times and date are subject to change. “It’s All in the Bag” Dodge County, Wisconsin Today’s excursion will start when we receive our bag for all the treats we will get today. Our first endeavor will be to Widmer’s Cheese Cellars. At Widmer’s we will tour the factory and view the making of fresh cheese. Widmer’s first settled in Theresa, Wisconsin and produces some of the finest Brick, Cheddar and Colby cheeses. There will be a souvenir for our bag of course! Now we will head over to Leroys Meats of Horicon, where we will get a guided tour, getting to see the process of sausage making. There will be another item added. Lunch will be included today at Ginger’s Hideaway (family style lunch). Then we will stop at Honey Acres and tour the Honey of a Museum. Here we will learn and view how honey is made. There will be one more stop at Berres Brothers Coffee. We will tour the production area with some time allowed for shopping. As always there will be a treat for our bag. After eating our way through Dodge County, we will head home. We strongly recommend bringing a cooler for the cheese stop.
