Complemented by our superior control technology, they are the perfect solution for a wide range of applications. From single phase drives for door weights up to approx. 480 kg and door speeds up to 0.29 m/s through to three-phase drives for door weights up to approx. 780 kg with door speeds up to 0.33 m/s – all of our sectional door drives with disconnecting clutch can be easily disconnected from the door shaft, e.g. in the event of a power failure. Equipped with this special design feature, the drives meet the stringent requirements for fire stations, doors, DIN 14092 and the guidelines for power-operated doors. In addition, with the aid of a suitable cable drum, the drive will easily reach the opening speed required by this standard. Setting the end limits is particularly easy and convenient on drives A 50 E – A 140 E with electronic limit switching: the final limit positions can be set from the ground using the S 80 door control. DMR stands for torque control and means that BECKER drives A 50 DMR and A 70 DMR operate without final limit positions. This offers palpable advantages when it comes to installation, as no adjustment is required to the final limit positions when the door is installed. A single raising and lowering of the door suffices to set the final limit positions. In the event of subsequent changes to the opening dimensions, e.g. due to laying of a screed, the intelligent DMR control automatically adjusts to this and carefully regulates the torque requirement of the door in every position. Alongside the exceptional ease of installation, this system provides optimal safety. In addition to the standard bottom pneumatic safety-edge rail, the DMR control stops the door as soon as it is subjected to any mechanical stress which causes the torque requirement to increase unexpectedly, e.g. if a fork lift truck drives into the door. Intermediate positions can also be conveniently programmed with the DMR control: the practical summer/winter setting of the door is a prime example. Whether dead-man’s control or self-locking, with pneumatic, electrical or optical rail – we have the perfect solution for all your requirements.
