The required airflow volume is calculated as follows:<br />
V= (f x P v ) / T<br />
The air constant f = 3.3 mm 3 K/Wh.<br />
T is the difference between the ambient temperature and the<br />
internal temperature.<br />
Example<br />
- Pv = 600 W<br />
- internal temperature = 25 °C<br />
- ambient temperature = 30 °C<br />
1. T = T i – T a = 30 °C – 25 °C = 5 K<br />
2. From P v = 600 W for curve for T =5 K<br />
3. From the point of intersection down to the airflow volume<br />
V = 400 m 3 /h<br />
