High precision Reference Thermometer C101 with an
accuracy of 0.02°C
The C101 Reference Thermometer is unique in its class with
an accuracy of 0.02°C in the range from -40...200°C. This is
achieved by means of high-quality, coiled, glass-sealed
PT100 sensors and precision electronics with a 24 bit
analog/digital converter. Both the sensor and the electronics
are pre-aged in an intricate process and in this way achieve
excellent long-term stability.
A1-SDI, the multi-talented measuring instrument
The display device has a PT100 input for temperature
measurement and a digital input (SDI).
The SDI-interface opens up a new dimension in flexibility for
measurement applications. Instead of many measuring
instruments for individual tasks, with the A1-SDI you now need
only one measuring instrument for many tasks!
The A1-SDI is the ideal measuring instrument for
professionals.
Hand-held measuring instrument E200IR – the portable
measuring instrument
You can use the E200 IR as a thermo-hygrometer or laser
pyrometer, depending on the application mode.
The non-contact thermometer has three different modes:
Temperature/humidity measurement (TH-mode)
Contact-free temperature measurement (Infrared, IR-mode)
Dew-point detection on walls (DP-mode)
Lufft projects in Germany and abroad
Intelligent Road Sensors in Australia, “Roads and Traffic Authority”, Sydney
An Ice Warning Station with Intelligent Road Sensors from Lufft has been installed on the “Great
Western Highway” between Lithgow and Bathurst (approx. 2 to 3 hours by car from Sydney). In
summer the temperatures in this region are very high but in winter they very often fall below 0°C
at night time.
Even in Australia there are critical road conditions – there is danger of frost in this region from
April to September!
De-icing Spray Facility in Perm, Russia
On 21.10.2005 the new bridge over the River
Kama in Perm was opened by the Transport
Minister Mr. Levitin and the Governor of the
region, Mr. Beloserov.
The first part of a de-icing system has been installed
on this bridge in association with our Russian
partner Moskovskije Dorogi.
The installation of the second part is planned for
2006.
Precipitation and Soil Humidity Measurement in Japan
In order to facilitate decision-making within the scope of a meteorological project in agriculture,
OPUS200 modules and radar rain sensors were installed to measure precipitation and soil
humidity. The measurement data captured by the R2S sensors is also used for other
applications.
Data transfer and visualisation take place via DOPA radio transmission.
C210 – the ideal measuring instrument for conditioning and drying hops
Measurement of temperature and relative humidity in the ventilation duct or air distribution
chamber of the conditioning plant is of decisive importance for best possible drying of hops
(drying kiln). Careful, even drying of the hops is necessary to give good quality.
The C210 was extensively tested for this application by the Bavarian Regional Institute for
Agriculture (Hops Consulting Service, Wolnzach) and rated as excellent. Due to the very good
test results, numerous C210 measuring instruments were sold to agricultural companies during
the hop harvesting season in August/September.
APOSAN Dr. Künzer GmbH
Current Pharma Projects
When important, sterile drugs have to be prepared for patients against individual orders under
clean room conditions, this requires sophisticated production logistics and cleaning processes
organised in the best possible way. Aposan, of Cologne, produces application- ready, sterile
prescription drugs in batch sizes of one and upwards. On request and repeatedly during the
day, drugs are individually produced in accordance with doctors' prescriptions and delivered
throughout the whole of Germany within 24 hours. Without an online monitoring system,
manufacturing in accordance with GMP specifications and Article 13 of the German
Pharmaceuticals Act (AMG) would not be possible. SmartControl, the user friendly software
launched by Lufft in February 2005, enables the Company to guarantee the highest quality in
the newly constructed production building.
"The date for the regional authority's acceptance test of the clean rooms was already set, even
before the order for the construction of the clean rooms was placed", recalls Volker Jüngerich.
The pharmacist and production director of
Aposan Dr. Künzer GmbH, the Cologne-based pharmaceutical
company founded in 1991, was jointly responsible for the project
to relocate the production facility from central Cologne to the Kalk
district of the same city. A technology park has been created on
the land once occupied by the famous Hagen battery factory, and
more than 20 biotechnology, pharmaceutical and other
companies have moved in. Aposan has created a high-tech clean
room production facility there, which not only serves to showcase
the equipment to customers but also provides a service to
pharmacists and health insurance companies.
Aposan Dr. Künzer GmbH is a manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and provider of medical
services. The Company has
specialised in the production of drugs for individual patients,
administered by injection or intravenous infusion.
Lufft Opus 300i dataloggers measure and collect the data for
differential pressure, relative humidity, temperature and particle
count. The SmartControl software controls, evaluates and transmits
alarms when limit thresholds are violated.
"The plant had to be approved on 15 February 2005, yet when the first construction project
meeting took place in November the first brick had not even been laid". But Michael Busse also
confirms that the "immense deadline pressure" also promoted great cooperation. The head of
Busse Industrietechnik in Marl, Lufft's representative in North Rhein-Westphalia, knows that
customers are constantly delighted with the Lufft solution. This is also confirmed by Jüngerich
when he describes the software as "somewhat more expensive but much more reliable than
others. It has redundancy and a simple, coherent design, can be operated intuitively and gives
us the data that we need quickly." And Busse adds with a grin: "One 'notices' (German: 'merckt')
that an important pharmaceutical company provided the impetus for the software and supported
its development."
The fact that the acceptance test by the regional authority took place on time and was
successful can certainly be put down to the excellent cooperation between all parties
concerned.
The good old mechanical instruments – a special enquiry!
20 barometers with a special measuring range of 560–1100
mbar!
(560 mbar corresponds to 4700 m, 1100 mbar corresponds to
7000 m)
No stone was left unturned in the execution of this order.
A new set of 6 diaphragms was produced and the joint lever,
connection spring and a great deal more was re-calculated and
adapted. We even produced special chart paper.
And finally a great testimony to the quality of Lufft products!
.... and it’s still working!!!
This Opus 10 was exposed to a
source of extreme heat, probably around
80°C, and was sent back to us by
a customer for repair.
