Membership is based on musical ability, leadership, and a desire to serve others. The Chorale performs at churches, schools, music festivals, and special events. Many members also participate in All-State and All-Eastern Honor Choirs sponsored by the <strong>Music</strong> Educators’ National Conference (MENC) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). 14
Through the years, the NJHSA Chorale has been recognized for their contribution to the community and commitment to musical excellence. She is a frequent adjudicator and consultant. Pr<strong>of</strong>essional memberships include the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), <strong>Music</strong> Educator’s National Conference (MENC) and <strong>Music</strong> Educator’s Association (MEA). An accomplished pianist, Mrs. Prins has been featured at major concert halls throughout the tri-state area, including Carnegie Recital Hall and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, NYC. She currently directly the North Jersey Homeschool Association Choral Program and maintains a piano studio in Hawthorne, NJ. 15
