About the NJHSA Chorale Director<br />

Beth Prins received a B.A. in <str<strong>on</strong>g>Music</str<strong>on</strong>g> from Hought<strong>on</strong> College and an M.A. in <str<strong>on</strong>g>Music</str<strong>on</strong>g> Educati<strong>on</strong><br />

from Westminster Choir College. She is a frequent adjudicator and c<strong>on</strong>sultant. Pr<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>essi<strong>on</strong>al<br />

memberships include the American Choral Directors Associati<strong>on</strong> (ACDA), <str<strong>on</strong>g>Music</str<strong>on</strong>g> Educator’s<br />

Nati<strong>on</strong>al C<strong>on</strong>ference (MENC) and <str<strong>on</strong>g>Music</str<strong>on</strong>g> Educator’s Associati<strong>on</strong> (MEA). An accomplished<br />

pianist, Mrs. Prins has been featured at major c<strong>on</strong>cert halls throughout the tri-state area,<br />

including Carnegie Recital Hall and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, NYC. She currently<br />

directly the North Jersey Homeschool Associati<strong>on</strong> Choral Program and maintains a piano<br />

studio in Hawthorne, NJ.<br />
