The IV Thieves evolved from the band<br />
Nic Armstrong And The Thieves. While<br />
recording the follow up to their critically<br />
acclaimed debut CD, The Greatest White<br />
Liar, all band members took a hand at<br />
songwriting and lead vocal duties. That<br />
evolution led the band to decide they<br />
needed a name change, hence the IV<br />
Thieves. After touring with Oasis, The<br />
Pretenders, Jet, The Bravery, Mercury<br />
Rev, Louis XIV and more, the band won<br />
over music fans and the hard to impress<br />
music press. Rolling Stone hailed them<br />
as the band to watch and included them<br />
on their Hot List.<br />
