<strong>Blackhawk</strong> Names New <strong>Chief</strong> <strong>Engineer</strong><br />
WACO, Texas, May 2, 2012 – Jim Allmon, president and CEO of <strong>Blackhawk</strong>, the worldwide<br />
leader in single- and twin-engine turboprop aircraft performance improvement systems,<br />
announced today that the company has appointed Taleb Zeitouny as chief engineer.<br />
Zeitouny will report to Jon Adams, <strong>Blackhawk</strong> director of <strong>Engineer</strong>ing, and help to guide<br />
the company’s technology developments as <strong>Blackhawk</strong> meets growing demand for its aircraft<br />
upgrade programs.<br />

our product offerings and expanding our footprint in the composites industry will greatly benefit<br />
from Taleb’s skills and capabilities,” said Allmon. “Taleb understands the Supplemental Type<br />
Certificate (STC) process and offers solid knowledge in composite technologies.”<br />
Zeitouny comes to <strong>Blackhawk</strong> with more than 16 years of progressive engineering and<br />
engineering management experience. He served as a senior mechanical structures and<br />
systems engineer for The Boeing Company in Wichita, KS, on various upgrade programs for the<br />
U.S. Air Force KC/RC-135 tanker, E-6 airborne command centers, and the B-52 strategic<br />
bomber. He also worked as a senior engineer for L-3 Communications Integrated Systems and<br />
a senior systems engineer for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program for Goodrich Landing Gear<br />
and also Eaton Aerospace Company. He later held similar positions for Rockwell Collins, AAR<br />
Cargo Systems, Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Integrated Mission Systems, and most recently for<br />
DRS Technologies – Defense Solutions. His experience involves nearly every aspect of<br />
aerospace program engineering management, including planning design, test and validation,<br />
finance and administration.<br />
Zeitouny holds a B.S. in Mechanical <strong>Engineer</strong>ing from the University of South Florida, an<br />
M.S. in Mechanical <strong>Engineer</strong>ing from Wichita State University, and is completing requirements<br />
for a Ph.D. in Aerospace <strong>Engineer</strong>ing from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also has<br />
completed training in composites manufacturing, and holds FAA airworthiness certifications.<br />
