ANNEX 1<br />

Constituted 23 October 1943 in the Army of the<br />

United States as the 3106th Signal Service Platoon.<br />

Activated 1 November 1943 at <strong>Fort</strong> Monmouth, New<br />

Jersey Inactivated 10 February 1946 on Okinawa.<br />

Activated 19 November 1946 at Vint Hill Farms<br />

Station, Virginia. Redesignated 1 April 1947 as the 3d<br />

Signal Service Platoon. Reorganized and redesignated<br />

25 March 1949 as the 53d Signal Service Company.<br />

Allotted 13 October 1950 to the Regular Army Converted<br />

and redesignated 1 December 1950 as the 329th<br />

Communication Reconnaissance Company. Reorganized<br />

and redesignated 25 June 1955 as Company B,<br />

301st Communication Reconnaissance Battalion.<br />

Redesignated 1 July 1956 as Company B, 301st Army<br />

Security Agency Battalion. Inactivated 15 October<br />

1957 in Korea. Redesignated 1 November 1975 as the<br />

329th Army Security Agency Company and activated<br />

in Korea.<br />

ANNEX 2<br />

Constituted 12 July 1944 in the Army of the United<br />

States as the 2d Counter Intelligence Corps Detachment.<br />

Activated 6 August 1944 in France with personnel<br />

from provisional Counter Intelligence Corps detachment<br />

attached to the 2d Infantry Division. Allotted<br />

3 February 1949 to the Regular Army Inactivated 15<br />

September 1956 at <strong>Fort</strong> Lewis, Washington. Redesignated<br />

26 February 1958 as the 2d <strong>Military</strong> Intelligence<br />

Detachment. Activated 14 June 1958 at <strong>Fort</strong> Benning,<br />

Georgia. Assigned 30 June 1976 to the 2d Infantry<br />

Division. Reorganized and redesignated 20 February<br />

1979 as the 2d <strong>Military</strong> Intelligence Company<br />
