Symbolism: Oriental blue and silver gray are the<br />
colors associated with military <strong>intelligence</strong>. The key,<br />
flash, and sphinx symbolize the three basic categories<br />
of <strong>intelligence</strong>: human, signal, and tactical. The<br />
flaming torch between the crossed swords suggests the<br />
illumination as provided by <strong>intelligence</strong> upon the field<br />
of battle.<br />

loyalty and determination, are the colors of the<br />
military <strong>intelligence</strong> branch. Yellow symbolizes excellence.<br />
The hexagon borders reflect the numerical<br />
designation of the brigade. The sphinx, a traditional<br />
military <strong>intelligence</strong> symbol, indicates observation,<br />
wisdom, and discreet silence. The unsheathed dagger<br />
reflects aggressive and protective requirements and the<br />
element of physical danger inherent in the mission of<br />
the unit.<br />
