Sam Taylor Wood, who was due to direct Brad Birch’s play Permafrost, as<br />
part of the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Court</strong> <strong>The</strong>atre’s <strong>Rough</strong> <strong>Cuts</strong> season has now had to<br />
withdraw from the <strong>Rough</strong> <strong>Cuts</strong> projects due to commitments elsewhere.<br />
James Macdonald will now be directing the piece.<br />
<strong>Rough</strong> <strong>Cuts</strong> is a regular mini season of short plays, experimental readings and works in<br />
progress at the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Court</strong>. Further cast has now been announced. <strong>The</strong> cast for DC<br />
Jackson’s piece, Hard Gravity, directed by Jo McInnes includes Rosalind Sydney, Siobhan<br />
Redmond, Paul Higgins and Brian Ferguson.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Unheard Voices: Romany Stories Project cast now includes Sean Chapman, Beatie<br />
Edney, Candis Nergaard, Ian Redford, Suzan Sylvester and Luke Treadaway<br />
<strong>The</strong> cast for Manwe Sauls-Addison’s dance project includes Ukweli Roach, Craig Stein<br />
Roger Davies, Sam Mackay, Dominique Tipper, Cindy Belliot and Nandi Bhebhe<br />
<strong>The</strong> programme includes <strong>Court</strong> Short on 19-22 January - four nights of short plays by<br />
three young playwrights. Alia Bano’s Buried, directed by Joe Hill Gibbons, Brad Birch’s<br />
Permafrost, directed by James Macdonald and DC Jackson’s Hard Gravity, directed by Jo<br />
McInnes.<br />
On 21 January, there will be a presentation of Unheard Voices: Romany Stories, where<br />
playwrights Dan Allum and Nell Leyshon interviewed men and women from the Romany<br />
Traveller community and developed a short verbatim play in response<br />
A new dance project from the US choreographer Manwe Sauls-Addison exploring the<br />
world of celebrity backing dancers concludes the season 26- 28 January.<br />

choreography for Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson.<br />
