TSE EcoSPRAY ® 85A Coating

Product Description
TSE EcoSPRAY ® 85A is a two component urethane hybrid aromatic elastomer with a
Shore A hardness of 85A. The system has good UV stability and can be sprayed in
high humidity conditions. With minimal effect on physical properties. EcoSPRAY
provides good corrosion and abrasion resistance to most substrates. It retains its
elasticity through a temperature range or -30 O F to 200 O F. EcoSPRAY 85A can be
pigment to almost any color.
Applications include; protective coatings for pipes, tanks, concrete, wood and foams,
agricultural and mining equipment, boats, utility trailers, bed liners, and many
more.

Processing and Application
TSE EcoSPRAY 85A can be applied using both high and low pressure equipment and
2 component cartridge guns. It is essential to have equipment that consistently
delivers accurate amounts of both components to the mixer to obtain a high quality
elastomer.
Surfaces should be clean and free of contaminates
EcoSPRAY 85A can be applied in thicknesses from of 10 to100 mils or greater.

Store both TSE EcoSPRAY ® 85A (Part A) and TSE EcoSPRAY ® 85A (Part B) in tightly
closed containers and protected from contamination from moisture and foreign
substances, which can adversely affect processing. Any opened packages should be
blanketed using dry gas and resealed tightly so as to keep moisture from entering the
sealed container. TSE EcoSPRAY ® 85A (Part A) will react with water to form ureas
and CO2 gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. For
maximum storage life, sealed containers should be stored between 60ºF and 95ºF.
Shelf life is 6 months when stored this way.
Standard Package
Components are supplied in 5-gallon pails (40 Lbs. net) and 55-gallon drums (450-
500 Lbs. net)
Safety and Handling
Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before handling either TSE
EcoSPRAY ® 85A (Part A) or TSE EcoSPRAY ® 85A (Part B). When spray applying these
materials, proper protective equipment must be worn. This should include a full face
breathing air mask and clothing to prevent skin contact with aerosol. It is the
responsibility of the operator to completely read and understand the MSDS for each
component before handling them.
