Belize: Mayan Cities, Wildlife & Beaches
April 12-18, 2014 Make a Pre-Reservation
Known for its ancient Mayan cities, lush jungles, and immense
caves, Belize lies on the East coast of Central America in the
heart of the Caribbean Basin. We begin on the mainland in
search of ancient Mayan cities, canoe through caves and trek
into jungles. We have set aside two days at the end of the trip
to visit Ambergris Caye, known for its spectacular beaches, and
quite possibly the best snorkeling and diving in the world.
Peru’s Macchu Picchu & Easter Island
April 16-26, 2014 Make a Pre-Reservation
Peru is the home to one of the most famed examples of Inca
architecture: Machu Picchu. Believed to have been built in the
mid-15th century, its existence was unknown to the modern
world until it was re-discovered in 1911. We’ll also visit Lima,
Peru’s capital with its rich Colonial Spanish history and into the
mountains to the Inca’s Sacred Valley and capital, Cusco. Then
we jet off to Easter Island to spend 3 days exploring the mystery
of the Maoi statues.
Why make a Pre-reservation
With a pre-reservation, you’ll be notified before everyone
else when a tour is posted with final price, itinerary and
dates. It costs nothing and places you under no obligation.
A pre-reservation places you at the head of line in choosing
to take a tour but it is NOT a reservation. If you do decide to
take the trip after receiving the final details
you must make a reservation.
Charleston & Savannah (2 Departures)
April 13-18, 2014 -or- April 20-25, 2014
Member Price: $1,993 Single Room:$791
Savannah and
Charleston–nothings
says southern charm
quite like these two
cities; located two
hours apart but different
in so many
ways. Savannah is
truly unique, famous
for its “pocket parks”
and squares laid
out by founder, General James Oglethorpe in the early 1700s.
Charleston lies on a peninsula between two rivers and fronts the
Charleston Harbor. It has more homes on the National Registry
than any other city and is home to Fort Sumter, location of the
first conflict of the Civil War. These two cities and the other
locations we will visit during this trip represent the quintessential
idea of “southern-ness. We love visiting this area and know
you will too!
