I am not sure if what you just saw is<br />

contemporary, sexy, hip, fresh, energetic,<br />

differentiated or spatial. If you label it in<br />

hindsight it probably is too.<br />

The question is: would the level of the contributions<br />

be the same if one simply called<br />

the office of a signature designer and throw<br />

catchy labels at them. We believe not.<br />

The contemporary design process seems<br />

complicated because of all the requirements<br />

that represent the hard data like<br />

market research or target group profiling.<br />

This complexity is a given.<br />

The graphic designer needs to formulate a<br />

pre-conceptual approach to bring all these<br />

requirements to a comprehensive level.
