Ancel Epps, <strong>of</strong> Dennis Route 3, who spent <strong>the</strong> winter in Florida, was in town<br />

Monday and subscribed to The Times.<br />

Horace Hill and wife and Sam D. Johnson and wife, <strong>of</strong> Booneville, were visiting in<br />

Belmont Sunday afternoon.<br />

LOST — In <strong>the</strong> hills <strong>of</strong> Franklin <strong>County</strong>, Ala., one medium size, slender-built fox<br />

hound. Color black with a little white on breast. Had on collar with “O. P. Davis,<br />

Burnsville, Miss.” on it. If found, please notify O. P. Davis, Burnsville, Miss., or<br />

Boney Winchester, Belmont, Miss.<br />

Mr. Thomas, <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Thomas Drug Co., was called to Tupelo Wednesday morning on<br />

account <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> death <strong>of</strong> his mo<strong>the</strong>r-in-law, Mrs. M. E. Mosler, which occurred at her<br />

home Tuesday night.<br />

Jesse Ward, <strong>of</strong> Biloxi, who recently bought <strong>the</strong> home <strong>of</strong> W. C. Wood, arrived last<br />

week with his family. We welcome <strong>the</strong>m to our town.<br />

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Steele, <strong>of</strong> Sulligent, Ala., spent Sunday with relatives here.<br />

Mr. Steele returned home Sunday night, Mrs. Steele will remain for a few days.<br />

R. C. Baley is Greenwood Springs and o<strong>the</strong>r points this week, looking after lumber<br />

interests <strong>of</strong> his firm.<br />
