COMMISSIONERS SALE OF LAND<br />
Mrs. Bertha Hopkins, Complainant; vs. J. U. Clark, et. al. Defendants — No.1658:<br />
By virtue <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> provisions <strong>of</strong> a decree <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Chancery Court <strong>of</strong> <strong>Tishomingo</strong><br />
<strong>County</strong>, Mississippi, rendered by said court on <strong>the</strong> 17 th day <strong>of</strong> December, 1925, <strong>the</strong><br />
undersigned as Special Commissioner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> said Court in <strong>the</strong> said cause, will on <strong>the</strong><br />
18 th day <strong>of</strong> March 1926, at Iuka, Mississippi within legal hours, in front <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> South<br />
Door <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Court House, expose for sale and sell to <strong>the</strong> highest bidder, for cash, <strong>the</strong><br />
following described real estate situated in <strong>Tishomingo</strong> county, Mississippi, to–wit:<br />
beginning 40 rods west <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> East line <strong>of</strong> South half Sec. 35, T. 6, R. 10, and 22<br />
rods South <strong>of</strong> North line <strong>of</strong> said South half and running west 45 rods to Iuka and<br />
Fulton public road, <strong>the</strong>nce south with said road measuring at right angles <strong>of</strong> North<br />
line <strong>of</strong> this tract 8rods <strong>the</strong>nce East 16 rods, <strong>the</strong>nce South 10 rods, <strong>the</strong>nce East 16 ½<br />
rods, <strong>the</strong>nce North 18 rods to beginning, being 3 ¾ acres.<br />
The said land is sold for <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong> partitioning among <strong>the</strong> owners in accordance<br />
with said decree; and <strong>the</strong> title is believed to be good, but I will convey only such<br />
title as is vested in me as said Commissioner.<br />
