†VELTHEIMIA
Family: Liliaceae
W e ’ v e r a i s e d
these decorative bulbs in
our own greenhouse and
think they are terrific! We
use it as a very forgiving
house plant and enjoy its
bright, glossy green foliage
and pink flowers which
look a lot like Kniphofia, Veltheimia
or ‘red-hot-poker’. We
haven’t used them in the garden but understand
that they are hardy to whz 9;(shipped in late August).
