Because lilies produce stem roots that act as anchors, they stand up taller and straighter if they are planted
about 8”-10” deep, giving the stem roots the area they need to secure and support the heavy, but beautiful
flower heads. Also, please remember to snip off the stamens when picking your lilies as the pollen grains
may stain your clothes or tablecloths.
