PRODUCT DESCRIPTION<br />

<strong>Taubmans</strong> <strong>UltraProof</strong> <strong>Acrylic</strong> <strong>Enamel</strong> <strong>Satin</strong> is an advanced formulation acrylic with enamel like<br />

characteristics for interior and exterior use. It combines the smooth finishing properties and<br />

serviceability of enamels with low odour, quick dry and convenience of water based finishes.<br />

PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS<br />

Features<br />

• Non yellowing.<br />

• Ideal for broadwalls in wet areas.<br />

• Resists sticking on contact areas.<br />

• Rapid dry.<br />

• Good exterior gloss retention.<br />

Constraints<br />

• Do not apply when the temperature is below 5°C, the humidity is greater than 85%, or if dew or<br />

rainfall is likely within 4 hours of application (for exteriors).<br />

• Exposure to condensation or steam should be avoided for the first 48 hours.<br />

• Not recommended for exterior weatherboards.<br />

SURFACE PREPARATION<br />

Remove grease, dust and dirt by washing down with liquid sugar soap as per label directions. If<br />

mould is present treat with proprietary mould killer as per label directions.<br />

If wallpaper has been stripped all wallpaper paste should be removed.<br />

All loose, peeling and flaking material must be removed. Old glossy surfaces must be sanded to a<br />

dull finish before repainting. Fill holes and cracks with a suitable filler. Sand the surface smooth<br />

with 150 or 180 grit sandpaper. Apply the appropriate sealer system and allow to dry before<br />

sanding lightly and over coating with two coats of <strong>Taubmans</strong> <strong>UltraProof</strong> <strong>Acrylic</strong> <strong>Enamel</strong>.<br />

APPLICATION<br />

Stir paint thoroughly with a flat stirrer until contents are uniform and thoroughly mixed.<br />

Do not thin as product is ready for use. Use a dry brush and roller where possible.<br />

Apply with a good quality brush, 6 - 8mm nap roller or airless spray.<br />

Provide adequate ventilation during use.<br />

NOTES<br />

To avoid blocking, contact surfaces should be left for a minimum of 8 hours before closing.<br />
