NASPL Associate Memberships

As this industry looks towards the future of Lottery, it is apparent that 

as a whole, it must continue to protect its market share, profits, and 

products. 

For this reason, NASPL has created Associate Memberships in the 

hopes of encouraging every vendor to become a part of the future 

development of our industry.

NASPL Associate Memberships 

Throughout the year, industry vendors and suppliers participate in many aspects of 

NASPL; and the Association has always greatly appreciated the support and cooperation 

it has received from its suppliers. Specifically, numerous companies attend 

the Vendor Dialogue, Subcommittee Meetings, Lottery Leadership Institute, Annual 

Conference, Trade Show, or advertise in Lottery Insights. 

For the first time ever, NASPL has created memberships 

for vendors that encompass a variety of levels of participation 

at a reduced rate. There are five levels to choose 

from, and each 

one offers unique 

cost-savings and 

benefits, while at the same time, elevating your 

participation in the future direction of our 

Industry. 

Without a doubt, Vendors and Suppliers will 

now be able to receive more value and savings 

in exchange for their participation. 

Please take a moment to review the various 

levels of Associate Membership and determine 

which is best for your organization. The Associate 

Memberships will become available January 

1, 2011. Each membership will be valid for the 

term of one year.

A NASPL Associate Membership application is open to a supplier or prospective supplier 

of goods and/or services provided to a government-sanctioned lottery operator. All 

applications must be submitted for final approval by the NASPL Executive Committee. 

NASPL reserves the sole right to accept or reject any applicant.

Associate Memberships for NASPL 

Definition of Associate Members: 

A Vendor (service) organization who offers equipment, supplies, 

services and other products to public state, national or provincial 

lotteries in North America or government-sanctioned lottery 

organizations outside of North America. It may also include sub 

contractors that provide services to the vendors within the gaming 

industry. Associate members are admitted after submitting an Associate 

Membership Application, an affirmative vote of two-thirds 

of the Executive Committee, execution of an Associate Member 

Agreement and payment of the agreement fees. 

Evaluation Criteria: 

1. An application form must be completed in its entirety. 

2. The organization submitting an application must have the support of at least 

one member of NASPL. 

3. The organization submitting the application must provide a list of products 

and/or services, which are relevant to the Gaming Industry, as per the 

application. 

4. The organization submitting the application must have a minimum of two (2) 

full-time employees whose work is dedicated to providing products and/or 

services to the Gaming Industry. 

5. The organization submitting the application must operate within the current 

legal guidelines as they apply to the Gaming Industry.

6. The organization submitting the application must agree that only one 

individual representing the specific organization may participate 

in the activities of Associate Memberships. 

7. The organization submitting the application must agree that Associate 

Members are not eligible to vote, to chair standing committees or to 

hold elective office. 

8. The organization submitting the application must agree that the 

Associate Membership is non-transferable; however, the individual 

representing the organization as the Associate Member can change 

as necessary, and the Associate Membership may transfer if a company 

is sold. 

9. The organization submitting the application must agree that the 

decision to approve or deny a specific organization’s Associate 

Membership application rests solely with the NASPL Executive 

Committee and that the decisions are final. 

10. NASPL reserves the right to refuse to grant or to terminate Associate 

Membership status of an organization that is or has engaged in behavior 

that the Executive Committee deems unlawful, unethical, or detrimental 

to the Association, and the Gaming Industry.
