Content has been designed to aid the primary care physician in evaluating
and managing common problems in adult and pediatric urology. Although
of primary interest to family physicians and internists, nurse practitioners,
physician assistants and other health professionals involved in the care of
these patients will also benefit from attending.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Following this course, participants should be able to:
Discuss with patients the differential diagnosis, evaluation, and
treatment options of benign prostatic hypertrophy
Identify patients who should obtain a PSA and discuss the recent
controversies in PSA measurements
Evaluate pyelonephritis and calculi in pregnancy and appropriate
treatment
Describe the differential diagnosis and assessment of the
acute scrotum
Identify the etiologies of erectile dysfunction and treatment
options including the new medical therapies
Discuss medical management for female sexual dysfunction
Summarize management options for geriatric incontinence
Describe the etiology and treatment options of newborn
congenital defects including In Utero hydronephrosis,
undescended testicle, circumcision-hypospadias, and
ambiguous genitalia
Review recommended treatment of hematuria and stones

2005. No refunds will be made after Thursday, March 3.
