What is your top beauty tip?<br />
Lots of water, sleep and exercise are the<br />
best th<strong>in</strong>gs for your sk<strong>in</strong>. That and a fabulous<br />
manicure help me feel groomed and ready<br />
for the day.<br />
Most embarrass<strong>in</strong>g beauty mishap?<br />
Over-pluck<strong>in</strong>g my eyebrows as a teenager.<br />
It has taken years of regular thread<strong>in</strong>g to get<br />
them back!<br />
Who is your beauty icon?<br />
I really admire make-up artist Lisa Eldridge<br />
for her simple approach to make-up and<br />
sk<strong>in</strong>care. I am obsessed with watch<strong>in</strong>g her<br />
tutorials onl<strong>in</strong>e.<br />
Which shade of Artistic Colour Gloss<br />
would you be, and why?<br />
It would have to be ‘Posh’ for a demure and<br />
groomed look, and ‘Owned’ for a bold and<br />
bright holiday look.<br />
What made you choose Artistic Colour<br />
Gloss?<br />
I first became aware of Artistic Colour Gloss<br />
<strong>in</strong> Harrods, and I knew <strong>in</strong>stantly it would be a<br />
perfect fit for M<strong>in</strong>k. The range of shades and<br />
the quality completely won me over.<br />
Our clients adore it, particularly the LED lamps<br />
which cure it so quickly.<br />
What is the <strong>in</strong>spiration beh<strong>in</strong>d your salon?<br />
M<strong>in</strong>k’s flagship salon opened <strong>in</strong> 2008, with<br />
a desire to provide Dubl<strong>in</strong> with the highest<br />
quality manicures and pedicures, along with<br />
superior customer service and choice. It is<br />
now the market leader <strong>in</strong> the Hand and Foot<br />
Industry <strong>in</strong> Ireland.<br />
Any words of wisdom for others look<strong>in</strong>g to<br />
open their own salon?<br />
You have to be prepared to put <strong>in</strong> the hard<br />
work and hours but noth<strong>in</strong>g beats the reward<br />
