5) Orcastaways!<br />
Sea Kayaking in the San Juan Islands, Washington<br />
<br />
Avast all ye sea dogs! Come join your captains on an amazing voyage<br />
circumnavigating Orcas Island in the beautiful San Juans. We will cover up<br />
to ten miles a day, paddling along the coast of Orcas Island. Depending upon<br />
conditions, our hearty group will also venture off to smaller islands, for more<br />
<br />
location, sleeping in tents or right under the stars. Scramblers will have the<br />
<br />
<br />
having fun is a primary objective, paddling can be hard work and the sea can be<br />
formidable. We are one of the more rigorous sea kayaking Scrambles, and our<br />
route will be challenging. Previous kayaking experience is recommended but not<br />
<br />
and sea salt in their hair! Prerequisites: Strong swimming ability and comfort<br />
around water.<br />
Dates: 1 p.m. August 20 to 6 p.m. August 28 Cost: $785<br />
