5) Orcastaways! Sea Kayaking in the San Juan Islands, Washington Avast all ye sea dogs! Come join your captains on an amazing voyage circumnavigating Orcas Island in the beautiful San Juans. We will cover up to ten miles a day, paddling along the coast of Orcas Island. Depending upon conditions, our hearty group will also venture off to smaller islands, for more location, sleeping in tents or right under the stars. Scramblers will have the having fun is a primary objective, paddling can be hard work and the sea can be formidable. We are one of the more rigorous sea kayaking Scrambles, and our route will be challenging. Previous kayaking experience is recommended but not and sea salt in their hair! Prerequisites: Strong swimming ability and comfort around water. 6) Outrageous Orcas Orbiters Sea Kayaking in the San Juan Islands, Washington Do you like singing in the sunshine Cavorting with seals in a cool sea breeze Sleeping under the stars Always having a waterfront view of nature If you like any of those things, join Allison, Rebecca, and John, for a weeklong sea kayaking adventure around gorgeous Orcas Island. We will travel up to ten miles a day and will do the same route as Orcastaways in the opposite direction. There will be plenty of time for making new friends, playing games on the beach, enjoying gorgeous sunsets, and cooking great food. You will eat like royalty, and even have the opportunity to invent gourmet backcountry meals. We’ll wake up with the tides, learn technical paddling skills, and play in the yourself in body and mind for the beautiful San Juan Islands where orcas, seals, and eagles abound. Besides fantastic sea kayaking, this trip will be a perfect opportunity to learn what we Whitties are all about: great friends, adventures, and an appreciation for the world around us.
