8) Seaside Swag
Backpacking on Olympic Coast – North to South,
Olympic National Park, Washington
We will be going on a six-day
backpacking trip along the Olympic
coast. Our route will total roughly
thirty-three miles, starting in the
North and working our way South,
passing the Tidal Trekkers along
the way. Although the mileage may
seem low, the slippery rocks, deep
sand, slick mud slopes, and stream
crossings will often test our mettle.
But all this walking brings great
reward: beautiful sunsets, gorgeous
beaches, bald eagles galore,
humbling geologic features, and the
company of your fellow, unwashed,
leaders are excited to lead new
Whitties on a fun and adventurous
Scramble!
