Ms. CHRYSOULA ARGYRIOU Policy Officer European Commision DG TREN, Electricity & Gas Brussels Since early 2001, she works at the European Commission. Over the recent years, she's been mainly working on the development of a regional energy market in South East Europe. The outcome of this effort includes the signing of the Energy Community Treaty, the establishment of the Athens and Maribor Fora addressing electricity and gas issues respectively, regulatory guidelines with respect to market design, tariff reforms, customers' protection. She's also initiated the process to establish the 8 th region Co-ordinated Auction Office to facilitate transparent cross border electricity trader. Before joining the European Commission, she's been working at the Ministry of Development in Greece. 5 th South East Europe Energy Dialogue

P. P. participated in over 150 international conferences as a member and head of Bulgarian delegations on issues of UN, EU and NATO. Currently P.P. holds the position of Ambassador at large for Energy Security and Climate Change and National Co-ordinator for the EU Nabucco Project, with the Directorate of Political Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
