Support Our Senior Programs<br />
Here are just some of the benefits we offer to those age 60 and over:<br />
Seniors for Seniors : Adoptions fees are waived for animals age 5 and older.<br />
Other Adoption Discounts : 20 percent discount for seniors who adopt an animal<br />
younger than 5 years.<br />
Gracie’s Adoption Center Retail Store Discounts : 20 percent off items in<br />
our shelter retail store.<br />
Dog Training Class Discounts : Take six one-hour dog obedience classes for only<br />
$49 (regular price: $95)!<br />
Private Animal Behavior Consult Discounts : Need immediate help with your<br />
dog’s behavior issue A private consultation gives you and your dog one-on-one attention to<br />
address your dog’s behavior issue(s) and any applicable training to help resolve your particular<br />
situation. By appointment only. One hour for $49 (regularly $60).<br />
Behavior Helpline : This free service offers assistance with dog and cat behavior issues.<br />
Calls are reviewed and returned within 48 hours Tuesday through Saturday.<br />
Love on Loan : Do you live in an active seniors community or have a friend in a nursing<br />
facility who would benefit from a visit with a pet Pet therapy has been proven to reduce stress!<br />
Our volunteers bring their certified pets to visit with residents and patients at senior and special<br />

Free Estate Planning Seminars/Pet Guardian Program : These quarterly<br />
seminars review wills, trusts, probate and tax laws, and include information about how to care<br />
