This month we switched to the
Yearbook 2012 with our entire
product range instead of separate
folders. About this transformation we
fortunately have received many
positive responses. On the website,
the brochures still are to be
downloaded separately.
Because this book is especially
created for our technical customers,
and the need for a consumer flyer is
emphasized by different parties, this
project is speeded up. We hope to
show you this flyer in the next News &
Info.
During this year Ontop B.V. will
support its customers more, like a
consumer flyer or our new Iso-block
display.

We Care
The energy standards of homes are
becoming more stricter every year.
To meet these standards, roofs and
floors are being heavily insulated.
The Iso-block is designed, for these
modern situations. It allows to make
the house airtight, while the vapour
barrier remains intact. In almost all
installation situations it is possible to
use an Iso-block in combination with
Metaloterm® flue systems.
With the Iso-block saving energy is
easy, it allows to save €50, - per
month on the heating bills by more
efficient use of energy.
(This calculation is based on an average Dutch
house during cold winter months.)
MEGA silencers
Ontop B.V. has received an order last month for a series of MEGA
silencers. These silencers are applicated on a large emergency power
installation. This project withholds ten exhaust systems of
Metaloterm® AD in combination with a resonant vibration silencer
for the low frequencies and an absorption silencer for the middle
and high frequency sound waves to filter, a total of twenty silencers.
These silencers are 450 millimetres in diameter, which means that
the outer circumference is an impressive 1,200 millimetres.
We are particularly proud of this project, and also a major challenge for
our production department. Since the outer dimensions of our standard
products do not exceed 675 millimetres, these large silencers are
completely hand made at our facilities in Middelburg.

Our silencer demonstration at
the Mostra Convegno in Milan,
Italy, at the stand of GBD.
With this demonstration set
up, it is possible to clearly hear
the difference between
exhausts with and without
silencers.
The mounted resonance and
absorption silencer ensure that
the low, mid and high
frequency sound waves
clearly are reduced.

organized for our clients and

Projects
Heating of apartments at Geislingen, Germany.
Ontop GmbH recently supplied
and installed,
in cooperation with our field
office in Donzdorf a flue system
for a heating station in Geislingen,
supplying heat to several
apartment buildings.
Integrated are two silencers
supplied from Raichle, connected
on two heat generators from
Buderus/Loos with a total power
of 4,25MW.
The two 35 m tall flue systems on the outside are especially decoupled
from the wall in order to prevent noise inside the dwellings.
