• The current road network<br />

into and out <strong>of</strong> Trenton<br />

has reserve capacity<br />

available. Dundas Street<br />

<strong>is</strong> <strong>the</strong> busiest roadway in<br />

<strong>the</strong> area.<br />

Volume to<br />

capacity ratio <strong>is</strong> a<br />

measure <strong>of</strong> how<br />

much traffic a<br />

road can handle<br />

before it <strong>is</strong><br />

congested. A ratio<br />

<strong>of</strong> 0.90 or greater<br />

<strong>is</strong> congested.<br />

highest congestion<br />

during both peak<br />

hours.<br />

Level <strong>of</strong> Service measures <strong>the</strong><br />

average wait time at an intersection.<br />

For example, Level <strong>of</strong> Service C <strong>is</strong><br />

between 20 and 35 seconds.<br />
