In this document you will find more information regarding<br />
industry at <strong>ESC</strong> <strong>Congress</strong> <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

Programmes (see page 6)<br />
The EBAC (European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology)<br />
accreditation, granted by a board of specialists widely<br />
recognised in the field of cardiology, confirms the scientific<br />
and educational quality of programmes proposed by national<br />
and international scientific or academic <strong>org</strong>anisations and<br />
institutions, such <strong>as</strong> medical professional <strong>org</strong>anisations,<br />
universities or teaching hospitals.<br />

Satellite Symposia (see page 8)<br />
Cooperation between clinicians, researchers and the<br />
pharmaceutical and technical industries h<strong>as</strong> significantly<br />
contributed to a better understanding and management of<br />
patients with cardiov<strong>as</strong>cular dise<strong>as</strong>es.<br />
These sessions will offer pertinent data on the scientific<br />
development in cardiov<strong>as</strong>cular imaging from the industry.<br />
Hands-On Tutorials (see page 16)<br />
Industry tutorials provide participants with an opportunity<br />
for hands-on learning from clinical and/or technical experts<br />
on specific are<strong>as</strong> of expertise.<br />
Tutorials take place in a state-of-the-art setting with<br />
attendance limited to 30-50 delegates to offer an intimate<br />
and interactive hands-on learning experience. Entry is open<br />
and free to all delegates.<br />

Exhibition (see page 18)<br />
At the heart of the congress centre, the exhibition will provide<br />
you with the opportunity to exchange with key industry<br />
experts on critical are<strong>as</strong> of development and research in<br />
cardiov<strong>as</strong>cular products and therapies. The exhibition will be<br />
a central hub for scientific discussion and exchange during<br />
the congress.<br />
