We are planning for the Olympic and
Paralympic Sailing and Olympic Windsurfing
Events that will be happening over the next two
years.
We will work with other Police Forces and
organisations to deal with anti- social
behaviour and crime.
We are starting to think about how we can save
money.
Our total budget for 2010 - 2011 is
£120,304,100, which includes savings of over
£2.2 million on the previous year.
This budget provides for 1,447 police officers,
1,059 police staff and 162 Police Community
Support Officers.
We have a budget of £4,506,000 in 2010 - 2011
to pay for our estate, vehicles, and computer
systems.

We will work on preventing murder and serious
violence.
We want to cut down on the harm caused by
alcohol and drugs.
We want to find out about and stop the crime
that is happening in local neighbourhoods.
We want to find out about and support those
people and communities who are especially
vulnerable and need protecting.
We will work with other forces and agencies to
tackle criminals engaging in serious and
organised crime.

We especially want to stop drug related crimes.
We want to stop terrorists who use violence for
political reasons.
We want to reduce the number of people killed
or seriously injured on our roads.
We want to improve the Criminal Justice
System.
We want serious offenders to be punished.
We want the people of Dorset to have trust and
confidence in their police force.
