(sic), <strong>of</strong> the R.A.M.C., is on sick leave, <strong>and</strong> is recouping in Devonshire, Engl<strong>and</strong>, accompanied by his wife (Alice<br />
Stevan); also that her nephew, Surgeon Wilberforce Arnold, has been invalided home from Malta, <strong>and</strong> is on home<br />
service at Tunbridge Wells, Engl<strong>and</strong>. Another relative, Surgeon W. Stevan, is on active service at Salonika."<br />

" The death has occurred, says a London cablegram <strong>of</strong> yesterday, <strong>of</strong> Mr. Arthur <strong>Brebner</strong>, M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P, who was<br />
formerly a lieutenant in the Royal Army Medical Corps. Deceased was the third son <strong>of</strong> the late Mr. James <strong>Brebner</strong>,<br />
manager <strong>of</strong> the Piccadilly (London) branch <strong>of</strong> the National Provincial Bank <strong>of</strong> Engl<strong>and</strong>. He had travelled in China,<br />
Japan, the East Indies, <strong>and</strong> Australia, <strong>and</strong> in 1905 he married Alice Rose Ewing, eldest daughter <strong>of</strong> Dr. Alex<strong>and</strong>er<br />
