O R D E R
Sri Gerar J. Sequeira, C/3, C/4, Industrial Estate, Moula Ali- 500 040, Secunderabad has
filed a 2 nd appeal dated 01-12-2011 which was received by this Commission on 05-12-2011 for
not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / O/o the Fire & Emergency Services,
Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, 1 st Floor, B-Block, BRKR Bhavan, Tank Bund,
Hyderabad and Appellate Authority / O/o the Fire & Emergency Services, Department,
Government of Andhra Pradesh, 1 st Floor, B-Block, BRKR Bhavan, Tank Bund, Hyderabad.
The brief facts of the case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are
that the appellant herein filed an application dated 28-05-2011 before the PIO requesting to
furnish the following information regarding case pending before the Court of the
Xth Metropolitan Magistrate Cyberabad, at Malkajgiri. Vide C.C. No. 59 of 2009:-
1. I would like to know what is the status of the above mentioned case.
2. Has SM Lab Pvt. Ltd. Admitted to the violations
3. If so what are the point of admission
4. Have the “ Deficiencies in open spaces” pointed out by us vide letter Dt. 06/09/2010
along with the photo copy of the sanctioned plan of S.M. Labs Pvt. Ltd. C/5, Industrial
estate Moula Ali. Obtained from APIIC taken into consideration with regards to the
Setbacks.
The appellant filed remainder dated 21-07-2011 before the Public Information Officer/
O/o the Fire & Emergency Services, Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, 1 st Floor,
B-Block, BRKR Bhavan, Tank Bund, Hyderabad.
Stating that he did not get information from the Public Information Officer, the appellant
filed an appeal u/s 19(1) dated 01-11-2011 before the Appellate Authority/ O/o the Fire &
Emergency Services, Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, 1 st Floor, B-Block, BRKR
Bhavan, Tank Bund, Hyderabad requesting to arrange to supply the information.
The appellant stated that as he did not get the information even after 30 days of filing his
appeal, he filed this 2 nd appeal before this Commission requesting to arrange to furnish the
information sought by him and also take action against the PIO and the Appellate Authority for
not furnishing information sought by him.
The 2 nd appeal was taken on file and notices were sent to the parties concerned directing
them to appear before the Commission for hearing on 20-02-2013.

The case is called on 20-02-2013. The appellant Sri Gerard J Sequeira and the PIO/ Addl.
Director, O/o the Fire & Emergency Services Department, Hyderabad are present.
The PIO has submitted that he has furnished point wise information to the appellant. The
appellant submitted that he is in receipt of the information. The PIO has not submitted any letter
showing that the information is furnished to the appellant. But there is a letter dated 20-02-2013
furnished by the PIO, which is addressed to the Commission, is showing that point wise
information is furnished.
In view of the fact that there is no proof to show that the information is furnished to the
appellant, the PIO is directed to furnish the point wise information to the appellant, as stated in
the letter dated 20-02-2013 addressed to the Commission, within a week from the date of receipt
of this order under intimation to the Commission.
With the above direction, the case is closed.
