A wonderful response to this year's Show with numbers surpassing
last year's record figures.410 entries from 95 exhibitors. A truly village
occasion.
Individual cup-winners as follows: Fruit and Vegetables - John Hyde,
Flowers - John Hyde, Flower Arrangements - Barbara Hyde, Preserves
and Cookery - Vicki Coffey, Handicrafts (shared) Cathy White and
Kathy Bullen, Art - Sally Lamerton and Photography - Sally Lamerton/
Small prizes were awarded to the winners in each of the Children's
Sections: Stanley Davies (2), Lydia Tutton, Orlando Paraskeva, Anna
Blanch (3), Atlanta Paraskeva (2), Grace Batchelor, Olivia Proto, Alfie
Proto and Luke Coffey.
Many thanks to everyone who helped to make the Show such a
success. To see the Village Hall overflowing with people and exhibits
is very satisfying. Next year 2012 we hope the Show will take place on
Saturday 8th September.
