Available Transfer Capability (ATC) Definition * “ATC is a measure of the transfer capability remaining in the physical transmission network for further commercial activity over and above already committed use”. Mathematically, ATC = TTC – TRM – {ETC + CBM} ETC: Existing Transfer Commitment TTC: maximum amount of power which can be transferred over the network while satisfying all security constraints.
