This seminar will introduce important concepts<br />
and techniques that permit the pediatrician and/<br />
or staff to accurately assess visual acuity and<br />
perform eye screenings in preschool-aged children.<br />
These techniques will include the use of validated<br />
eye charts, correct vision-testing techniques with<br />
a child-friendly approach, and a review of recent<br />
advances in photoscreening device technology.<br />
